To examine these convergences through a more manageable lens, we have designed this convergence triangle which consists of five layers, starting with a foundation of key systems and tools we believe every business should have. 

All of this progress, however radical it may seem, is actually old news. When silicon chips replaced vacuum tubes at the beginning of the digital age, this was a disruptive innovation. Yet, as exponential technologies converge, their potential for disruption increases at scale. Solitary exponentials disrupt products, services, and markets while convergent exponentials wash away products, services, and markets, as well as the structures that support them. Technical Advisors

Purpose-Driven Technology Planning

The role of the advisor is to be the first point of contact for the customer via a phone/video call, email, or an initial consultation meeting. They establish the customer needs and provide simple technical advice on what is possible, while working closely with a consultant to identify the initial requirements for what emerging solutions can be implemented. The main role of the advisor is to complete the Technical-Know-Your-Client questionnaire (TKYC). This involves analysing current operating models and completing the questionnaire to hand over to the consultant. The advisor is also in charge of handling L1 technical support queries.

Responsibilities

  • Business Breakdown: Identifying areas for improvement, obsolete processes and silos within teams to highlight the need for change.
  • Personalised Support: Offering unparalleled levels of support to the customer to ensure you are comfortable throughout migration.
  • Relationship Management: Maintaining a strong and transparent connection with the customer is a necessity for success. 

Technical Consultants

Understanding Risks: A Foundation for Confidence

The main role of the consultant is to manage the customer relationship and complete the Change Management Policy Plan (CMPP) upon receiving the TKYC from an advisor. The consultant also handles L2 technical support queries for customers that have joined our community and escalated further, or if the support case has been marked as L2 upon receipt.

  • Risk Optimisation: Balancing growth with safety to protect your business. Understanding how technology impacts scale.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regular reviews and adjustments to stay aligned with the project scope and track progress on deliverables.

We work diligently to mitigate risks through robust strategies and risk management frameworks. By focusing on diversification, diligent analysis, and proactive adjustments, we help you navigate uncertainties while pursuing your technology integration goals confidently.

Subject Matter Experts (SME)

The role of the subject-matter expert (SME) is to provide the finest quality of consultation services to our customer base when required. During the completion of the CMPP, the SME will work closely with the consultant to design and produce digital integration roadmaps before solution delivery. Ensuring the customer is in the most optimum position to roll out or accept a new change. The SME works closely with the customer and technical vendor(s) to ensure the solution delivery goes as expected while assuring the customer of workarounds if they are not satisfied with the solution provided. These experts come at an additional cost and may be outsourced. Additionally, SME’s handle L3 technical support queries and report customer feedback back up to the Senior Management Team (SMT). The SME is also in charge of handling escalations.
